Australian by Degree is an Australia Global Alumni series which profiles inspirational successful alumni from the Indo-Pacific and Africa who are using their Australian education to achieve success back in their home countries.

In Malaysia, the series featured three accomplished alumni: Professor Dr. Adeeba Kamarulzaman (Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya), Dr Hsiao Mei Goh (Cave Archeologist and Cultural Heritage Specialist) and Dr Jillian Ooi (Seagrass Geographer, Senior Lecturer & Research Academic).
