About Me

Crafting underrepresented stories. Inspiring change.

I’m a documentary producer-director-journalist, visual artist, video editor, production fixer, and website crafter with over three decades of experience across print, online, and broadcast media. My work gives voice to overlooked people, communities, and places — telling stories that inform, spark conversation, and build connection.

Rooted in journalism and shaped by years of filmmaking, I founded Factual TV in 2009 as the creative home for my documentary and factual work. Through commissioned and grant-supported projects, I explore human-interest narratives spanning the environment, built and intangible heritage, art and culture, and local communities.

I collaborate with international organisations including the British Council, Pulitzer Center, Al Jazeera, A&E Networks, and Discovery Channel, alongside local and international production partners. Beyond filmmaking, I volunteer with the Malaysian Nature Society, leading family-focused climate engagement through the Climate Action Kids Engagement (CAKE) programme which I developed with several of the MNS Selangor Branch Special Interest Groups (e.g. bird, flora, and herp).
