The Poetry Cafe

Join us for an evening of poetry at The Poetry Café, a cosy venue in London’s Covent Garden. This event explores themes of nature, heritage, and creative expression in a time of ecological crisis. As part of the evening’s reading, The Poetry Society has invited the Peat on Earth Malaysia and UK project team to screen two of its ten spoken word films. UK-based filmmaker Ben Horrigan and emerging poet Matt Sowerby will be present to introduce the project and the two films – under the “People and Folklore” topic: I See It in Hands (Malaysia) and Boggart (UK).
